Changing permission on a godaddy?

I am using Godaddys hosting i have never had a problem with them the problems i am having now is im trying it install a template for a world of warcraft website and it requiers me to have my root folder set to a 777 or 755 permison so it can unzip and install the pre-built joomla i am unsure how to change the root folder on godaddys hosting. I have tried to change it with my ftp and none of the ftps i use will allow me to change it so my question to you guys is anyone know how to change it ?

If you are having Permission to change the folder permission. you can use Filezilla. It’s a good FTP software

    You will have to call GoDaddy support if your FTP client won’t give you the desired results.
